Processing

– Sourcing from FSSAI Certified Vendors subjected to QA/QC checks

– Stringent QA/QC checks at processing units with nutrition testing

– Processes aligned with statutory requirements/ industry best practices

– Certification – ISO, HACCP, FSSAI

– Packaging in food safe, multi-layered metallic pouch packaging

– All processes as per FSSAI – Food Safety Standards Authority of India guidelines

– No preservatives / additives / flavouring agents

Transport

-Secondary packaging for bulk delivery – Material for each AWC is packed and sealed in individual bags with proper tagging and identification

-Food materials transported only FSSAI certified logistic partners subject to our QA/QC checks

-Material is distributed to the AWC through the local logistics within 3 days of receiving at the warehouse

-Simple Warehouse and Material Management systems is implemented for effective inventory management and reduced wastages/expiries

Transport

-Anganwadi workers are trained for Food Safety, Hygiene, personal hygiene and provided with:

-Incoming delivery is verified for the quality and quantity by the AWW/ H

-AWW/ H can contact the ANNADA helpline for support and to report any non-compliance of the food mixes

Transport

-Hot cooked / Ready to eat meal is prepared at the AWC/home of beneficiary

-Critical Safety check – First food is tasted by the mother/ primary caregiver

-Hot Cooked / Ready to Eat meal is served to the beneficiaries

-Mothers are trained on safe storage & preparation to serve meals at home
